Valley Fight Series 8 Results

Valley Fight Series hosted their 8th event May 28th 2022. The Wakehouse in Reedley, Ca was the site for night of Amateur MMA and Submission grappling. 

In the main event the VFS Light Heavyweight title was on the line as Fresno’s (4-1) AJ Perez took on Modesto’s (2-0) Romello Parker. Perez threw a left uppercut followed by a straight right hand that connected and sent Parker to the canvas forcing the referee to stop the fight at :49 seconds into round 1. AJ Perez moves to 5-1 with the win, and is now the VFS Light Heavyweight Champion.

The VFS and CAMO Bantamweight Championship was up for grabs in the co main event. (5-0) Alex Bonilla out of Salinas Ca edged out (3-1) Keoni Terorotua to remain undefeated and capture both titles by unanimous Decision.

Salinas Ca’s Christian Antonio (3-0) defended his VFS Welterweight title defeating (3-2) Savey Perez out of Fresno by tko at 1:10 in round 2.

Fresno’s (2-1) Zach Rodriguez defeats Stockton’s (3-3) Danny Moreno Jr by unanimous decision to become the VFS Heavyweight Champion.

Jordan Irizarri defeats Chris Chavez by Knockout, landing a right high kick that ended the fight at 1:03 in round 1.

Brandon Campo defeats Pedro Negrete by TKO in rd 1.

Eric Quinones defeats Gerson Hernande by TKO in rd 1.

Nouel Toma defeats Jason Bryson by Unanimous Decision.

Jeff Bonill defeats Bryson Kubota by Unanimous Decision.
