Outside the Valley Spotlight: Up Next Fighting 11 Results

Up Next Fighting 11 took place Saturday September 2nd, 2023 from the Burbank Marriot Events Center in Burbank, Ca.

The flyweights stole the show as (8-5) Gianni Vaszquez took on (14-7) Narek Avagyan for the UNF Flyweight Championship. Avagyan came forward looking to land that KO shot, but Vasquez used great footwork to land what he needed, and make space. Both fighters would let loose, but it was Vasquez that was causing all the damage on a tired Avagyan, Vasquez would take the fight to the ground where he would  score with some more shots. Avagyan made it back to his feet, but was stunned again with more punches from Vasquez. Referee stepped in to stop the fight in round one, making Gianni Vasquez the new UNF Flyweight Champion.

(20-9) Curtis Millender defeats  vs (20-8) Sidiah Parker to retain the UNF Middleweight Championship in the main event.

Artur Arutyunyan defeats David Secaida by submission with a rear naked choke that forced the tap.

Devon Brock defeats Derion Chapman by unanimous decision , after three rounds all three judges scored the fight (30-26). 

Joseph Rodriguez defeats Jason Edwards by KO landing a left kick to the head that sent Edwards to the canvas. Rodriguez followed up with a few more shots that ended the fight.

Diego Perez defeats Armen Piloyan by KO landing a right hand that dropped Piloyan, a few more shots and the fight was stopped in round 1.

Anthony Zaragosa defeats Steven O'Bryant.

Chase Gibson defeats Sergio Quinones by submission in round 1.

Auttumn Norton defeats Brittney Victoria.

Desmond Alvarado defeats Ezekiel Michael to win the UNF Rising Stars Bantamweight Title.

Jonathan Winland defeats Axel Conrad.

Ezekiel Michael defeats Clayton Kline  by unanimous decision.
