Fresno’s undefeated Marc Castro will make the trip to Robert Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico for his next bout on Saturday December 7th, 2024. Where he will be competing on Matchroom’s: Paro vs Hitchins card on DAZN.
(13-0) Castro last saw competition over the summer in July, where he defended his WBC Continental Americas Super Flyweight Championship with a technical decision over George Acosta on the Santa Monica Pier. Castro now looks to finish the year off strong by adding another W in the win column and will take on Argentina’s (20-2-1) Agustin Quintana. Who is on a two fight win streak. Last picking up a unanimous decision win in October. The scheduled ten round fight will be part of a very competitive card put together by Matchroom.
The main event will see the IBF Super Lightweight Champion Liam Paro defend his title versus Richard Hitchins. The IBF Latino Super Featherweight Championship will also be on the line in the co main event, along with some great fights on the under card. Marc Castro and his team will be holding an open work out on
Saturday November 30th, 2024, before they head to Puerto Rico. Central Valley fight
fans and supporters are invited to come watch Marc put the finishing touches on
his training in preparation for his upcoming fight. There will also be live
music, giveaways, and free food. The open work out begins at 11:00 AM and will
take place from The Iron Office Gym located at 1570 E Nees Ave in Fresno, CA.
