Hurtado vs Niazzi, 559 Fights 116 - Roy Walker

“The Young Phenom” Francisco Hurtado out of Coalinga is now a two time champion after defeating Idris Niiazi in the main event. Hurtado regained the 559 Fights Middleweight Championship, stopping Niiazi by tko in round 1. Hurtado landed early, quickly hurting Niazzi who looked to recover by shooting for a takedown, but Hurtado stuffed it. Hurtado continued to land nice punches to the body then back upstairs. Until the referee stepped in to wave off the fight. Making Hurtado the new champion and moving his amateur record to 5-1.

Garcia vs Contreras, 559 Fights 116 - Roy Walker

RDC Boxing’s Gianni Garcia out of Fresno is now the new 559 Fights Welterweight Champion. Defeating the former champion Moses Contreras by ko in round one. Garcia landed a combo ending with a right hand that put Contreras down. Garcia followed up with a few more punches from the top and the fight was stopped early in round 1.

Flores vs Jastrzebski, 559 Fights 116 - Roy Walker

Visalia’s Jacqueline “Lulu” Flores made a successful debut in her hometown defeating Jasmin Jastrzebski by unanimous decision. Flores and Jastrzebski went back and forth for three rounds with Flores getting the best of the exchanges in all aspects of the game. All the judges saw it the same way moving “Lulu” to 3-1 as an amateur.

Sandoval vs Luzuriaga, 559 Fights 116 - Roy Walker

Jose Luzuriaga stunned the hometown crowd by stopping local favorite Joey Sandoval by KO in round 1. Luzuriaga landed a hard punch that ended the fight at 1:37 in round 1.
