Sajin out, Quintana in the co main event for the interim 559 Fights Flyweight Championship at 559 Fights 119

It is fight week in the Central Valley! 559 Fights is back at the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, California with 559 Fights 119 on Saturday December 13th 2025. With the Holiday Season in full swing, 559 Fights gifts the Central Valley MMA fans a solid card full of some of the best amateur MMA athletes in California. Santa is getting ready to make his rounds in a few weeks, the naughty and nice list is being finalized. A pair of 559 Fights tickets always makes for a great stocking stuffer if you’re in the giving spirit. If you know, you probably made the naughty list. Just be nice to yourself and come enjoy a night of great MMA action to go along with that chunk of coal.

Whether naughty or nice? One thing we all know for sure is that Visalia’s Lorenzo Quintana is smooth. When it comes to competing in the cage, Quintana has been one of those fighters you can see progressing and perfecting his craft. Win or lose, Quintana leaves it all in the cage every time and understands what the amateur ranks of MMA are made for. Training out of Crisp MMA, Lorenzo stands at 2-3 as an amateur and is always ready for the next opportunity. With current 559 Fights Flyweight Champion Sajin Zacarias out with an injury. Lorenzo “Smooth” Quintana will step in on short notice to take on Dethrone MMA’s Emiliano Granada for the Interim 559 Fights Flyweight Championship. 

Granada who accepted the opponent change without hesitation is currently 2-1 as an amateur, with back to back wins so far in 2025. Last picking up a win at 559 Fights 116 versus a teammate of Quintana’s, Nathan Chastain.  Granada looks to finish off the year on a three fight win streak and take home the Interim title at 559 Fights 119. The winner would possibly face current champion Sajin Sacarias next year to unify the titles. Should Grenada win we will have a new challenger in the division.

 

Things get interesting if Quintana takes home the belt, as a rematch between himself and Sajin. would be their third go around, with the first two being very competitive and winning fight of the night honors. I don’t think too many people would complain about Sajin vs Quintana 3 to unify the titles in 2026.

Before we get to far into what could happen, there is business at hand Saturday night at the Visalia Convention Center. Not only is the 559 Fights Interim Flyweight title on the line. The main event will see Champion vs Champion as 559 Fights Amateur Middleweight Champion Francisco Hurtado takes on 559 Fights Super Middleweight Champion Kyle Mask. With the 559 Fights & CAMO State Middleweight Championship on the line.
