VISALIA, Calif. – Stacy Moran heads south into Visalia to defend her 115-pound 559 Fights title against Angelica Pimentel on Saturday, May 13th at Valley Strong Ballpark, home of the Visalia Rawhide.

“This was one of the fights of the year so far, it was hotly contested and highly controversial to some,” 559 Fights CEO Jeremy Luchau said. “We are blessed to be able to run this one back in May and for it to headline our first event under our new TV deal.”

559 Fights recently inked a 3-year TV deal with My TV 53 to air its live MMA events on their platform.

“The TV deal is huge for us,” Luchau continued. “My job has always been to prepare athletes to compete at the next level and at the next level you’re going to be on TV. So this is another component of preparation I can offer fighters who want to make this a career.”

In the co-main event, Valley favorite Martine Sandoval of Porterville will put his 145-pound title on the line against Raul Mendoza.

Plus, in the feature fight of the night, Visalia’s Dorian Hale is back in action, taking on Joseph Palacios.
