Valley Fight News: GYM LIST - Spotlight of the week - The Grind Martial Arts Academy

In this edition of Valley Fight News.com's Gym List Spotlight of the week. We welcome The Grind Martial Arts Academy to the Gym List.

Located at 937 E. Bardsley Ave in Tulare, California. The Grind Martial Arts Academy is new to the scene, but the folks running it aren't. Owned and ran by Jiu Jitsu Black belt David Valdez who started studying Jiu Jitsu in 2002 and is a black belt under Mark De La Cruz. Alexandria Alvarez and Tulare's Chino Esparza are also on hand as instructors. Well known for King's Knights Fight Team, Esparza now joins The Grind Martial Arts Academy, bringing his expertise in Muay Thai along with him.

The Grind Martial Arts Academy has various classes for kids and adults including, cardio boxing, Muay Thai, Gi and NoGi Jiu Jitsu, and a all women's Jiu Jitsu class that happens on Wednesdays. 

The Grind  Martial Arts Academy announced on their social media page that they will have local legend and UFC veteran Joe Soto in the house for a Seminar. posting,

"The Grind Martial Arts Academy is thrilled to announce that former UFC title contender Joe "One Bad Mofo" Soto will join us for an exclusive NoGi Jiu Jitsu Seminar on Saturday, August 19th.
