The road to 559 Fights at the Eagle Mountain Casino has been a long one to say the least. A tough trail of trials and problem solving that CEO Jeremy Luchau could write a book about by now. 559 Fights was established in 2012 giving amateur fighters a stage like no other to display their skills. The promotion has become the premier amateur MMA organization in the State of California, and in some people’s opinion the best in the country. One of the main questions that popped up on several occasions regarding 559 Fights throughout the years was, why don’t they do pro MMA events?
For 559 Fights, it seems mastering the art of amateur MMA the right way was the first goal. Following 114 events, it is safe to say 559 Fights has done just that and more. As the competition got better, so did the production. Leading to a professionally ran event that is now televised and highly regarded within the MMA community. Now officially licensed through the California State Athletic Commission, 559 Fights will now host professional MMA bouts moving forward starting at 559 Fights 115.
