Big Dawg Bare Knuckle Boxing 2 card set for Saturday June 7th in Porterville

It is fight week in the Central Valley! Big Dawg Bare Knuckle Boxing is back on Saturday June 7th, with another action packed night of fights from the Tule River Reservation in Porterville, Ca.

The Big Dawg BKB ring returns to the mountain to kick off what will be a hot summer in combat sports for the Central Valley. The main event will feature a rematch between two heavyweights that met back in day inside the cage. This time “The Animal” Mike Cook and “The Beast” Carter Williams will meet under bare knuckle rules. Both fighters return to competition with lots of experience in the past. Cook competed for Strikeforce and most of the local MMA promotions in the Central Valley. Cook took on some tough names in MMA and will do the same in his bare knuckle debut versus a decorated striker.

Modesto’s Carter Williams, made a name for himself in the kickboxing world where he won the 2003 K1 World Grand Prix. Williams took on some of the best when it came to kickboxing and competed in MMA a few times before hanging up the gloves. These two heavy hitters won’t be dusting off the gloves for this rematch, instead they will be wrapping up the wrists and letting their fists go in a main event you won’t want to miss.

The co main event will see Idris Wasi returning to take on local Daniel Bradley.

Former 559 Fights heavyweight champion Kail Melton will be making his bare knuckle debut. Melton takes on John Jones in a heavyweight bout.

The Valley’s Anthony “Eskeleto” Torres is also coming out of retirement to make his bare knuckle debut. The former 559 Fights champion takes on Michael Gaxiola.
