Ramos vs Ozuna 3 set to headline 559 Fights 124: Next Gen 3 May 22nd in Visalia

In Mixed Martial Arts it isn’t often that you see a trilogy between two fighters. A lot has to happen, a certain way for a promoter or matchmaker to even consider the idea. It is even more rare that you see a trilogy in amateur MMA. Most of the times athletes don’t stay in the amateur ranks long enough to create a feud or rivalry, before they are off to make a pro debut. For the amateur MMA powerhouse that is 559 Fights, the promotion will host their first trilogy after 123 shows. In the main event of 559 Fights 124: Next Gen 3 which takes place from the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia California on Saturday May 2nd, 2026.

It will be a tie breaker between current 559 Fights & CAMO State Bantamweight Champion Luis Ramos out of Dethrone MMA and former champ Noah Ozuna. The two originally met in the summer of last year at 559 Fights 115, where Ozuna won the fight by unanimous decision. They recently met again at the last 559 Fights event in May where they went the distance in another close fight, with Ramos getting the win by split decision to become the new champion. Following two close fights it made perfect sense to line up the trilogy to break the tie. Ramos is looking to defend his title, while Ozuna who trains out of Team Oyama. Will be looking to avenge his first and only loss as an amateur and become a two time champion.

The co main event will see 559 Fights Lightweight Champion (4-1) Gabriel Sanchez put his title on the line versus undefeated (4-0) Jesus Navarrette plus much more!
