559 Fights 126 Next Gen 3 set for August 22nd in Visalia

It is fight week in the Valley! Again! 559 Fights is back with 559 Fights 126: Next Gen 4! On Saturday August 22nd, 2026, the best amateur fighters in California will compete at the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, California. On a card that is just as hot as the triple digit weather that only the Central Valley can bring. 

The main event will see a highly anticipated rematch between Coalinga’s Israel Aldama and Madera’s Chris Chapa. The two first met in 2024 at 559 Fights 106 where Aldama won by tko in round 1. Since then, Aldama has gone on to win and defend the 559 Fights Amateur Super Lightweight title and is currently on a three-fight win streak and the current champ. 

In Chapa’s case, he has gone on a four-fight win streak himself since the loss to Aldama. Chapa was the inaugural 559 Fights Super Lightweight Champion, winning the title at 559 Fights 111 when the new weight class was implemented. Chris also defended the title successfully before vacating it with plans to go pro. Chapa took another amateur fight instead, winning the A1 Combat Amateur Lightweight Championship and moving his record to 6-1.

Mention of A rematch on the internet created buzz and now Chris Chapa returns to the 559 Fights cage. As a challenger, taking on Israel Aldama for the 559 Fights & CAMO State Welterweight Championships.

The co main event will see former 559 Fights Amateur Super Lightweight Champion Gabriel Sanchez out of Madera back in action. Sanchez has made his way to the lightweight division where he will be taking on a very experienced Joey Barthelemy out of the Bay Area

Also in action,  Fresno's undefeated Gavin Garcia out of Dethrone MMA takes on Ramon Benitez who is also undefeated. Plus much more!
