Maldonado stops Burgos in rematch! Mariscal new Lightweight Champ! 559 90 Results

Another packed house at the Valley Strong Ballpark in Visalia, Ca. As 559 Fights finishes off its outdoor series with a bang! 3 titles fights rounded out the amateur MMA card, with impressive finishes in all three of them. 559 Fights 90 went down September 24th 2022.

In the main event Laz Maldonado defended his 559 Fights Flyweight and California state titles in impressive fashion versus Parlier’s George Burgos.

Burgos looked for an early take down but got reversed leaving Maldonado postured up and working from top position. Maldonado shrugged a Burgos submission attempt off with a slam and moved to full mount, where he landed hard punches until the referee was forced to stop the fight at 2:29 in round 1.


In the co main event Fresno's (1-0) Julia Alonso  defeats (1-1) Debbie Syvong by knockout! Alonso lands a hard right hook followed by another punch that puts Syvong out cold at :12 seconds in round 3. Alonso is the new California state women's welterweight champion,


Farmersville’s David Mariscal representing Trifecta MMA defeats Enrique Carreno by TKO. Taking the fight to the canvas where he took full mount and landed some big shots until the referee stopped the fight just 1:00 into round 1.

Javier Torres defeats David Placencia by split decision, judges scored the fight (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Johnny Maldonado defeats Fernando Carreno  by split decision, judges scores the fight (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

Devin Guerrero defeats Anthony Sipe by unanimous decision, judges scored the fight (29-28, 30-27, 30-27).

Roman Guillen defeats Daniel Bradley by submission with a arm bar that forced the tap at 1:17 in round 1.

Tyler Miller defeats Julio Larrave by split decision, judges scored the fight (29-28, 29-28,29-28)

Jose Estrada  defeats Nahum Ponce by KO. End of the fight came at :59 seconds in round 1.

Dorian Hale  defeats Amiradeen Arafi by split decision, judges scored the fight (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Richard Holguin defeats Christian De La Cruz by KO  in round 1.

Gianni Garcia defeats Trae Garton by TKO, referee stops the fight at 1:08 in round 1.

Pedro Lopes defeats Eric Derington  by TKO after a verbal tap ends the fights at 1:55 in round 2.

Kenneth Clark defeats Park Cleveland by technical decision after an accidental eye poke in round 3. All three judges scored the fight (20-18)
