Visalia's Brock Dias is back at Up Next Fighting 6 March 25th

Up Next Fighting, a Southern California based MMA promotion is back with some familiar names on the card. As Up Next Fighting presents UNF 6 Saturday March 25th, 2023 at the Commerce Casino, in Commerce, Ca. If the promotion sounds a little familiar, it is because The Valley's own Cody Gibson won their title recently before heading back to the UFC for The Ultimate Fighter Season 31. UNF 6 will crown a interim bantamweight champion in the meantime, as the main event will see (15-10) Francisco Rivera take on (11-7) Chris Beal.

The event will include a few amateur MMA bouts to get the night started, followed by the professional portion of the card. Marcial of Cali Fights Magazine, brought it to my attention that another local was competing at the upcoming UNF. Looking at the card it is solid, and as you scroll through the names you'll see Up Next Fighting kept it in the family as Visalia's Brock Dias is set to fight for the promotion Saturday night in Commerce, Ca. 

Brock Dias vs Anthony Parham, Combate 6 - Cali Fights Magazine

Dias is the cousin of Cody Gibson and was undefeated as a amateur. He wrestled in the valley at Mission Oak High School in Tulare and West Hills College, and now holds a professional MMA record of (1-1). The 26 year old now resides in Orange County where he trains with Lemoore's Alex Perez at Team Oyama. This will be the first fight for Dias outside of the Central Valley, as he made his pro debut in Fresno. He last saw action in Visalia at Fury FC 66 where he picked up a win by tko last year in July. Dias takes on Glendale's (1-1) Elvis Shakhbazyan 

Francisco Rivera, UNF 3 - Cali Fights Magazine

As mentioned the UNF Interim Bantamweight Championship will be on the line in the main event. As  Buena Parks (15-10) Francisco "Cisco" Rivera takes on Ventura's (11-7) Chris "The Real Deal" Beal 

Serob Minasyan, UNF 3 - Cali Fights Magazine

In the co main event Huntington Beach's (14-11) Serob "Gullo" Minasyan is back! Coming in off a tko win at UNF 4, Minasyan takes on (18-38) Charon Spain.
