In the main event the CAMO State woman’s welterweight title was on the line as the current champ (2-0)Julia Alonso out of Fresno took on challenger (3-2) Joy Ann Pendell.
Pendell used her reach and clinch along the cage to score with some knees in round one. Alonso blitzed in with punches in round two but Pendell took the fight to the ground where she worked punches while improving position. Pendell kept on with the pressure in round three, pushing Alonso along the cage while landing knees to the body to finish controlling the final round. Judges scored the fight (30-26, 30-26, 30-27) a unanimous decision for Joy Ann Pendell making her the new CAMO State Champion.In the Co-Main Event 559 Fights Lightweight Champion David Mariscal out of Farmersville and Trifecta MMA wasted no time putting Fresno’s Gino Gonzales away. Mariscal successfully defended his title, taking the fight to the ground where he moved to full mount and rained down punches. Gonzales looked to escape but gave up his back, Mariscal then locked in a rear naked choke that forced the tap at 1:09 in round 1.
In the 559 Fights Middleweight Championship Joaquin Garcia controlled the first round versus Porterville’s Cartay Taylor. Garcia took Cartay's back, looking for a rear naked choke. Garcia continued in round two working from top position. Round three saw more the of the same with Garcia working his way to Taylor’s back in search of the rear naked choke. Taylor defended well to the end of the round. Judges scored the fight a unanimous decision for Joaquin Garcia who retains his 559 Fights middleweight title.
Biniyam Shibre defeats Joshua Simpson by KO landing a side kick that stunned Simpson. Shibre followed up with a thunderous kick that ended the fight at just :06 seconds into round 1. Shibre will now move forward in his MMA journey and make his pro debut for Fury FC in 2023 back here in Visalia.
Tyler Miller defeats Isaac Lopez by unanimous decision after three rounds.
Matthew Martinez defeats Felix DeLaPena by tko after landing a hard punch followed up by a couple more shots to a standing DeLaPena. Referee seen enough to step in and stop the fight at 1:27 round 2.
Justin Lazano defeats Jesse Vasquez by judge’s decision after regulation time ends in the second grappling match of the night.
Tyler Saelee defeats Derian Perez by decision after three rounds, judges scored the fight a unanimous.
Jeff Bonilla defeats David Gray by decision, after three rounds judges scored it a unanimous decision for Bonilla.
John Vargas stops Logan Yoder by ko after landing a short left hand that dropped Yoder. Ref stops the fight at 1:14 in round 1.
Raul Valdovinos defeats Jose Diego Perez by submission, locking in a rear naked choke that forced the tap at in 1:00 in round 1.
Bruno Chavez defeats Angel Baylor by submission in the first grappling match of the night. Chavez secured a armbar at 1:31 inside of regulation time.
Xander Alvarado defeats Brandon Pulido by tko after getting to full mount where he rained down punches until the referee stopped the fights at 1:30 in round 1.
Richard Spinelli defeats Michael Ramirez by decision after three action packed rounds. Spinelli was able to score using his jab to set up combos through out the fight. Ramirez came out strong in the second round landing some hard shots that dropped Spinelli. Judges scored the fight a unanimous decision for Spinelli.
Shonta Smallwood defeats Esaul Flores by unanimous decision after three rounds of action.
Kaleo Lagapa defeats Donaven Her by tko. Lagapa lands a right hand that floors Her. Lagapa looks to follow up but the ref stops the fight at :29 seconds into round 1.
