Hanford's Alex "The Decision" Perez set for grappling action June 29th 2023 at the UFC's Fight Pass Invitational 4

(24-7) Alex " The Decision" Perez takes on Roman Bravo-Young in a featherweight match Thursday June 29th 2023 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. This will be Perez's first action following a scary incident in March that lead to his fight being canceled moments before he walked to the cage. Perez suffered a seizure while warming up for his bout at UFC Fight Night in San Antonio.  Perez took to his social media where he shared plans to get followed up by Dr.'s. 

With Perez scheduled for his first competition since the seizure, it should be safe to say that his health is fine, which is most important. Thankfully Perez has been back in the gym and ready to move on with his MMA career, starting with a BJJ grappling match at the Fight Pass Invitational 4. 

Perez takes on decorated wrestler Roman Bravo-Young out of Arizona. Bravo-Young went 101-10 while capturing two national championships, and three Big Ten titles. Bravo-Young is also a former Penn State Athlete of the year.

A regional champion and an All-American himself, Alex Perez is no stranger to wrestling. He has more experience in the Jiu Jitsu game, so this will be a competitive match to watch. We here at Valley Fight News.com wish the kid from the Valley, Alex Perez nothing but the best.

The main event of the UFC's Fight Pass Invitational 4 will see Felipe Pena vs Craig Jones in a submission-only match. In the co main event Glover Teixeira takes on  Anthony Smith.

Fight Pass Invitational 4 will also include an absolute submission only eight-man tournament with a $25,000 grand prize.

Fight Pass Invitational 4 will stream live and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT.
