"Man Bun" Sutherland wins welterweight title, Dashlakaev scores a 3 second KO:559 Fights 98 Results

Roman Guillen vs Jared Sutherland, 559 Fights 98 - Roy Walker

559 Fights was back at it Saturday June 24th from the Valley Strong Ballpark in Visalia, Ca with 559 fights 98.

559 Fights Welterweight Champion (3-1) Roman Guillen looked to defend his title versus (3-1) Jared "Man Bun" Sutherland in the main event. Guillen took the fight to the ground  early in round one, where he took Sutherland's back. Guillen look to tighten up a rear naked choke but Sutherland defends well and escapes.

A shot to the back of the head stops the action for a bit. After the reset Sutherland stuns Roman with a nice shot, Sutherland would get to top position and land a few shots as the round ends. Guillen closed in quick in round two looking for the takedown. Sutherland fought off the attempt and got the fight to the canvas himself. Sutherland then rained down hard punches until the referee has seen enough to stop the fight in round 2. Making Jared Sutherland the new 559 Fights welterweight champion.

Tracey Hunter vs Gabriel Rocha, 559 Fights 98 - Roy Walker

In the co main event Gabriel Rocha took on Tracey Hunter. Hunter took the fight to the canvas in round 1 where he scored with some ground and pound. Rocha began to land early in round 2 but Hunter got the fight to the ground again, landing some punches and nearly locking a rear naked choke. In round three Rocha nearly locked in guillotine in round but Hunter survived sending the fight to the judges where they scored it a unanimous decision for Tracey Hunter.

Salfulla Dasklakaev vs Abraham Del Toro, 559 Fights 98 - Roy Walker

Salfulla Dashlakaev stopped Abraham Del Toro in impressive fashion needing only three seconds to land a head kick that knocked out Del Toro in round 1.

 

Joshua Simpson defeats JJ Madrid by unanimous decision after three rounds of action.

Paul Furr defeats  Richard Holguin by ko landing a hard punch that ended the fight at just :09 seconds into round 1.

Gabriel Reyes defeats Jose Riojas by unanimous decision.

Raul Valdovinos defeats Ashton Stanley by tko after landing a right hand that dropped  Stanley. Valdovinos followed up with a couple more shots that ended the fight at 1:09 in round 3.

Samuel Mira defeats Richard Sandoval by unanimous decision after three rounds of action.

Isaiah Morales  defeats Marcus Ramirez by submission with an arm bar that forced the tap in round 1.

Ronnie Reyes defeats Hector Barbosa by unanimous decision. 

David Gadzhiev defeats Angel Figueroa by tko with some ground and pound that ended the fight in round 2.

Jonathan Diaz defeats Thomas Luna-Cortes by unanimous decision.

Aaron Gonzalez defeats Matthew Hernandez by submission locking in a rear naked choke that forced the tap at :29 seconds into round 2.
