Plascencia out, undefeated Jeffrey Bonilla out of Salinas steps in versus George Burgos for interim flyweight title at 559 Fights 99

559 Fights 99 is around the corner on Saturday July 29th, 2023 from the Valley Strong Ballpark in Visalia, Ca. Four title fights are scheduled on the main card with the 559 Fights and CAMO State Lightweight title on the line in the main event. 

As 559 fights gets ready to start putting the pieces in places for 559 Fights 100. One fight that will set up a unification title fight at the event, will be the battle for the interim 559 Fights Flyweight title.

Current 559 Fights and CAMO State Flyweight Champion (5-1) Javier Torres was originally scheduled to defend his title at 559 Fights 99. A injury forced him off the card, so the team at 559 Fights set up a interim title fight between (3-1-0-1) Fresno's George Burgos and (3-2) David Placencia also out of Fresno. 

ValleyFightNews.com learned today that David Placencia is now out of the interim title fight. Taking his place versus George Burgos at 559 Fights 99 will be undefeated (5-0) Jeffrey Bonilla out of Team Take Flight in Salinas, Ca. Bonilla will take on George Burgos for the interim 559 Fights Flyweight title. The winner will move on to face Javier Torres for both the 559 Fights and CAMO State flyweight titles at 559 Fights 100.

Bonilla last seen action in February, picking up his fifth win in a row with a unanimous decision win in Santa Cruz. Burgos returns to the 559 Fights cage following back to back wars with former champ  Laz Maldonado who has moved on to the pro's. Who advances to take on Torres for it all at 559 Fights 100?
