Some familiar faces set to return at 559 Fights 102 December 22nd in Visalia

559 Fights is set for their last event of the year with 559 Fights 102, Friday December 22nd. 2023 from the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, Ca. The event will kick off day one of a huge two day MMA event, gifted to the Central Valley MMA fans by 559 Fights and A1 Combat. The Visalia Convention Center will play host to two MMA events on back to back nights. The premier amateur MMA promotion around will kick of the event with 559 Fights 102, headlined by three title fights and the return of many familiar faces. Fresno's Paul Porter returns to 559 Fights for the first time since 2014. Porter is (2-4) and began his amateur MMA career in 2011. Porter competed in the early days of amateur MMA in the Central Valley, and trained with Thrive MMA when he made his 559 Fights debut in 2013 at 559 Fights 10. Porter returned to action this year, after nine years away from the cage and is set to take on Ventura's  (0-2) Jimmy White.

Also returning after a year away from the cage is Vitruvian MMA's (2-4) Anthony Lopez. Lopez who has been busy on the Jiu Jitsu mats, hasn't competed in MMA since last year around this time. He looks to get back in the mix when he returns to take on Atwater's (2-3) Michael Gomez, who trains out of Madera's Martial Arts.

Team Alpha Male's (2-1-1) Volodymyr Burian will also be back in the 559 Fights cage, When he takes on Dethrone MMA's (2-1) Jose Estrada out of Clovis. Burian last seen action fighting to a draw versus a tough Tyler Saelee at 559 Fights 96. Estrada picked up two first round finishes to start his amateur MMA career, the two meet on Friday December 22nd in Visalia.

In the main event Hanford's (4-0) Gabriel Reyes is back to defend his 559 Fights Championship versus undefeated (3-0) Jose Aguiniga out of Coalinga and Tri City MMA. Reyes trains out of the Ochoa Combat Academy 

The light heavyweights will take to the cage in the co main event as 559 Fights Light Heavyweight Champion (4-0) Kyle Mask puts his title on the line versus Fresno's (2-0) Isaac Johnson Jr. Madera's Kyle Mask trains out of Madera Martial Arts and last seen acting in 

Also Bakersfield's (5-2) Pedro Trujillo looks to defend his 559 Fights Welterweight title for the first time versus a opponent to be named.
