Kape out, Central Valley's Alex Perez in vs Nicolau in the main event of UFC Fight Night April 27th

UFC Fight Night has a new main event set for April 27th, 2024. The UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nv was originally suppose to see (19-3-1) Matheus Nicolau take on (19-6) Manel Kape in the main event of the night. With Kape now out, in steps The Valley's (24-8) Alex Perez to take on Nicolau in a 5 round flyweight affair.

Perez had been scheduled to face (24-8) Tagir Ulanbekov in June, but will now have to switch his focus on Nicolau. Perez looks to get back on track following a unanimous decision loss in his octagon return in March.

For Brazil's Matheus Nicolau, this is the second time his meeting with Kape got cancelled. Nicolau last seen action in April of last year.

The two meet in the main event at UFC Fight Night Saturday, April 27th 2024 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nv. which will air live on ESPN/ESPN+.
