Richard Torrez Jr. faces undefeated Brandon Moore in San Diego May 18th

Fresh off another first round finish, Tulare's Richard Torrez Jr. is set to get right back to work. Torrez Jr., who moved his record to 9-0 with another first round tko in March. Will head to Southern California to take on Florida's 14-0 Brandon Moore.

Top Rank heads to the Pechanga Arena in San Diego California for Top Rank on ESPN: Navarrete vs  Berinchyk on Friday, May 18th 2024. The vacant WBO lightweight world title will be on the line in the main event when Emanuel “Vaquero” Navarrete takes on Denys Berinchyk.  The Co main event will see San Diego's own Giovani Santillan take on  Brian Norman Jr. in a welterweight match up.

Torrez Jr. vs Moore is scheduled to open up the main card, in a 8 round heavyweight attraction. This will be what many consider Torrez Jr's toughest test to date. Moore who stands at 6' 6", has a bit more experience in the pro's and is on a 14 fight win streak. Last defeating Helaman Olguin by unanimous decision in March.

The undefeated heavyweights, Torrez Jr. and Moore will kick off the live telecast on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+ at 7 pm PST.
