UFC Veteran Marion Reneau leads Trifecta MMA into battle June 8th at VFS 15

Valley Fight Series 15 is just around the corner on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from the Table Mountain Casino in Friant, Ca. The promotion recently announced that UFC veteran "The Belizean Bruiser" Marion Reneau will return to the cage to compete in a Jiu Jitsu match.

Reneau was born in Tulare and started her MMA career in 2010 where she racked up a handful of wins locally at Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville early on. Visalia's Reneau made her UFC debut with a 4-1 record and fought for the organization thirteen times, in her six year run there. Taking on some of the best in sport such as Holly Holm, Cat Zingano, Miesha Tate and many more. Reneau is a black belt in BJJ under Cleber Luciano and a student of Rafael Cordeiro's Muay Thai. Reneau opened up Trifecta MMA, a gym of her own in Visalia California. Where she continues to coach fighters and students, since she retired from the sport.

This will be Reneau's first time competing in the cage since 2021, her last fight in the UFC before hanging up the gloves. Reneau has however been very active on the mats. Along with her husband Armando, the two continue to add Jiu Jitsu medals to Trifecta MMA's walls from some of the top competitions held. Also helping add to the collection of accomplishments at Trifecta MMA. Are two of the school's top fighters. (2-0) Tyler "BloodThirsty" Miller and (1-0) David Mariscal out of Farmersville California. Both former amateur MMA champions are now making waves in the local pro scene. Reneau will lead her soldiers into battle, as Miller and Mariscal are both also scheduled to fight at VFS 15 as well.

(2-0) Tyler "BloodThirsty" Miller will look to move his pro record to 3-0 when he takes on Turlock California's (1-2) Esteban Gonzales.

(1-0) David Mariscal will be taking on David Morales out of the Valiant Training Center, who will be making his pro debut.

"The Belizean Bruiser" Marion Reneau returns to take on BJJ Black Belt Sara Fearon in the first Valley Fight Series black belt championship match. Fearon is also a black belt in Jiu Jitsu and the first female black belt under Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu.
