Visconde KO's Farias with spinning elbow, Hokit moves to 3-0: LFA 199 Results

Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to the Central Valley on Friday January 10th 2025 from the Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Lemoore, Ca.

The Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Lemoore, Ca was the place to be to kick off the new year in combat sports for the Central Valley. The Yokut Hall had a packed house leaving standing room only for all the Valley MMA fans that were eager for LFA 199. A card mixed with top level fighters that are mere phone calls away from competing in the UFC and new prospects.

In the main event of the night Brazil’s Erick Visconde started his year off with what many are considering an early contender for knockout of the year. Visconde would connect perfectly with a spinning elbow that put Ary Farias out cold at 1:08 in round 2. Visconde now stands at 15-3 in the featherweight division.

Hokit vs Lopez, LFA 199 - Cali Fights Magazine
The Valley’s Josh “The Incredible Hok” Hokit made his LFA debut in an MMA homecoming of sort. The former Fresno State Wrestler and Football player returned to the Central Valley to take on John Lopez in the co main event. Hokit would get the fight to the ground where he would work his way to Lopez’s back and land some bombs until the referee stopped the fight at 2:53 in round 1. Hokit moved to 3-0 as a heavyweight.

In the feature fight of the night Rafael Do Nascimento stops Brandon Altomare by submission, securing a nice calf slicer that forced the tap at 2:06 in round 1.

Larrave vs Silhanek, LFA 199 - Cali Fights Magazine
On the local side of things, Bakersfield’s Julio Larrave made a successful pro MMA debut picking up a win versus Allen Silhanek. Silhanek’s arm was injured early in the fight, to where his arm was pretty much dangling as he looked to keep fighting. The next time the two fighters engaged, Silhanek screamed in pain making it obvious he wasn’t in any shape to continue. The referee would let the fight go until Silahenk retreated enough for the referee to finally notice the injured arm and pause the fight. The doctor would confirm the arm was injured and maybe even broken, forcing an end to the fight at 2:21 in round 1. Making Larrave the winner by tko.

Gonzales vs Valdez, :FA 199 - Cali Fights Magazine
Fresno’s Larry Gonzales and Billy Ray Valdez went the distance. After three rounds of action all three judges scored the fight (30-27) a unanimous decision for Billy Ray Valdez.

Jermaine Edwards defeats Madera’s Abraham Del Toro by submission with a rear naked choke that forced the tap at 1:22 in round 1.

Shovkhal Churchaev defeated Enkhur Bayartsogt by unanimous decision, judges scored the fight (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).

Theo Haig defeats Said-Magomedov Abdulgaziev by submission locking in a rear naked choke that forced the tap at 1:49 in round 1.

Edmund Kwan defeats Shelden Struble by tko at 4:33 in round 3.

Sczar Charles defeats Ueslei Alves by majority decision, judges scored the fight (29-28, 28-28, 29-28).

Gabrielle McComb defeats Esmira Mammadova by submission with a rear naked choke that forced the tap at 3:16 in round 1.

Shealor Ladd defeats TK Mattress by ko at 1:43 in round 2.
