559 Fights 118 Results

The Eagle Mountain Casino has lived up to their motto, as “the place to be” for entertainment. On Saturday October 19th, 2025. 559 Fights put a stamp on the EMC as “the place to be” for MMA with 559 Fights 118. The promotions second pro/am event in Porterville since joining forces with the Tule River Tribe and the Eagle Mountain Casino. The combo has raised the bar when it comes to combat sports in the Central Valley, even securing a contract to have all 559 Fights Pro/Am events available live on UFC Fight pass from now on. 559 Fights has been the leader in amateur MMA for years in California and has made a quick impression after only two pro/am events.

The fight week festivities kicked off at the weigh ins with the UFC’s Youssef Zalal and Raul Rosas Jr. in attendance as special guest and host of 559 Fights 118. 559 Fights CEO Jeremy Luchau, who also works with the Iridium Sports Agency. Treated the Central Valley MMA fans to a top notch event that you would usually have to travel to Las Vegas for. 

With the community in full support, Youssef and Rosas Jr. also made a visit to the Tule River Reservation to meet with some of the youth. The fighters signed autographs, took photos and spoke to everyone in attendance in the lead up to a great night of fights at the Eagle Mountain Casino. 

559 Fights first ever professional champion would be crowned in the main event. When 559 Fights veteran and current A1 Combat Lightweight champion Christian “Landshark” Avalos out of Parlier, Ca took on “The Alley Cat” Samuel Alvarez in a rematch. For the 559 Fights Lightweight Championship. The fight would go the distance with all three judges scoring the fight (30-27), a unanimous decision for Christian Avalos. Who is now the new 559 Fights Lightweight Champion.

In the co main event Jessie Rosas, older brother of the UFC’s Raul Rosas Jr., took on Luciano Ramos. Rosas worked his ground and pound from full mount until the referee stopped the fight at 2:38 in round 1. Rosas now stands at 7-1 as a pro.

Tule River Tribe’s Shane Christie made his hometown proud defeating Trent Ebarb to remain undefeated. The fight would go the distance where all three judges scored the fight (29-29). A unanimous decision for Shane Christie who is now 3-0 in the lightweight division.

Parlier’s Jose Avalos defeats Shane Torres by decision. After three rounds judges scored the fight (29-28).



Tulare’s Brock Dias defeats Sal Bruno by unanimous decision.

Madera’s Abraham Del Toro defeats Jonathon Moskowitz by submission with a rear naked choke that forced the tap at 2:57 in round 2.

Michael Santiago defeats Brian Benevidez by tko using his ground and pound. Forcing the ref to stop the fight at 2:27 in round 1.

Octavio Gonzales made a successful pro debut defeating JJ Madrid by tko. Gonzales landed with a barrage of punches that had Madrid hurt, forcing the ref to step in and stop the fight in round 1.

Prelims:

Kyle Mask defeats Jahaad Sowell by split decision to win the Amateur 559 Fights Super Middleweight Championship.

Johnny Diaz defeats German Taboada by unanimous decision to become the new amateur 559 Fights Featherweight Champion.

Ryan Fiorentino defeated Gianni Garcia to become the new amateur 559 Fights Welterweight Champion. Fiorentino secured a rear naked choke that forced the tap at 2:50 in round 1. 

Former 559 Fights & CAMO State Heavyweight Champion Robert Barrios got back on track defeating Marc Martin by tko. Barrios used his ground and pound until the referee stopped the fights at :58 in round 2.

The opening bout of the night saw Jackie Craven moves to 3-1, defeating Arraeil Saunders by submission. Craven locked in a triangle choke that forced the tap at 1:03 in round 1.
