559 Fights returns to the Eagle Mountain Casino on Sunday July 19th, 2026, for 559 Fights 125! Another action packed night full of pro MMA action from the place to be. The promotion has announced that the main event for 559 Fights 125 will be between Parlier’s own Alejandro Avalos and Tony Cortez. With the winner being crowned the inaugural 559 Fights Professional Featherweight Champion.
Tony “The Conqueror” Cortez is currently undefeated and stands at 7-0 as a professional. Cortez fights out of Huntington Beach, California and trains out of Team Oyama. Cortez has done most of his work under the Combate Global banner and has yet to go past the second round as a professional. Cortez last seen action in March, where he finished his opponent by tko in round two.
Parlier’s (8-6) Jose “Stilmatik” Avalos trains out of Dethrone MMA Fresno and is a long time local favorite in the Central Valley. Avalos has competed in many of the top regional MMA promotions including Combate Global, Tachi Palace Fights, LFA, and A1 Combat. Avalos most recently picked up a win by unanimous decision at 559 Fights 118 last year in October. Cortez vs Avalos will decide the first ever 559 Fights Professional Featherweight Champion, in the main event.
