The Central Valley has returned to being a hotbed for
combat sports in 2026. Some promotions have reached new heights, while others
are getting back on track, or making a resurrection in a market that is quickly
becoming flooded with competition. Making their debut in the Central Valley on
August 15th, 2026 will be a new amateur MMA
organization sanctioned by CAMO, Absolute Combat Fighting (ACF). Bringing MMA
back to downtown Fresno for ACF 1 which will take place from the Fresno Convention Center!
Sanger MMA's Archie Tovar and his team at ACF have been hard at work putting together an all day event that will begin at 10AM with Jiu Jitsu matches. The MMA action kicks off at 5pm and will be headlined by two title fights.
The main event will decide the inaugural ACF and new CAMO State Lightweight Champion, when Fresno's own (4-2) Augustine Garcia takes on (2-3) Tavious Hunter also out of Fresno.
The co main event will see the first ever ACF Featherweight Champion crowned when (2-1) Aaron Flores takes on (2-1) Frank Lopez.
Absolute Combat Fighting 1 goes down Friday August 15th, 2026, at the Fresno Convention Center in Fresno, Ca. Tickets are available now at www.us.atgtickets.com/events/absolute-combat-mma/valdez-hall/tickets
