Gilbert Nakatani, LXF 6 - Cali Fights Magazine

It may not be fight week in the valley, but it is still fight week in Cali! Southern California to be exact. In our first edition of Outside the Valley, the spotlight stays on the new MMA powerhouse that is A1 Combat. We follow Tom Anderson, Jim Cooley and the crew to Long Beach, Ca for Urijah Faber's A1 Combat 9

Gilbert Nakatani, LXF 7 - Cali Fights Magazine

In the main event Covina, Ca's undefeated (4-0) Gilbert Nakatani takes on Wisconsin's (4-0) Eimar Hernandez. Nakatani who trains out of Aragon Training Academy, is 4-0 as a pro with four finishes. Nakatani has made a name for himself at Lights Out Xtreme Fighting, and now looks to showcase his talent at A1 Combat 9. Nakatani has a tough test in front of him as he takes on Team Alpha Male's Eimar Hernandez who last saw action at A1 Combat 6, where he won a unanimous decision over Edwin De Los Santos.

Teruto Ishihara, UNF 2 - Cali Fights Magazine

Japan's (12-10-3) Teruto Ishihara is back! The Shooto and UFC veteran who trains out of Team Alpha Male, returns to A1 Combat to take on Fontana's (12-11) Willie Gates. Ishihara is coming in off a tough fight with UFC veteran Francisco Rivera and is looking to get his first W of 2023. Ishihara takes on UFC veteran and former Tachi Palace Fights Champion Willie Gates, who is making his return after some time off.

Carlos Elizarraraz, UNF 2 - Cali Fights Magazine

Anaheim's Carlos Elizarraraz looks for his first win as a pro, after his last fight went to the judges and got scored a draw at A1 Combat 6 last year in October. Elizarraraz takes on 10th Planet's (1-0-1) Christopher Cruz.

The A1 Combat Bantamweight Championship is also on the line when Reno's (4-0) Payton Talbott  takes on Ecuador's(8-1-1) Cristhian Rivas
