Valley Fight Series is set to host their first ever tag team jiu jitsu tournament in Hanford, CA. The promotion returns to the Hanford Civic Auditorium Saturday August 5th, 2023 for Valley Fight Series 12.
VFS has developed a creative way for gyms to compete as teams in jiu jistu inside the cage. The rule set allows four grapplers to a team, with a combined weight limit of 750 lbs. Teams are to have a competitor in each belt rank and will have to come up with a strategy on the order of attack. Competitors will be able to tag out at any time between individual matches.The winners of the VFS first ever tag team jiu jitsu tournament will not only get the trophy but a $500 cash prize.

Valley Fight Club out of Hanford, Ca
White Wolves BJJ out of Bakersfeild, Ca
Classic Fight Team out of Fountain Valley, Ca
Carslon Gracie Westmore out of Nipomo, Ca
Also on the card at VFS 12:
Woman's flyweight champion (2-1) Emy Perez out of Fresno puts her title on the line versus Atanacia Ramirez out of Los Banos
VFS Bantamweight champion Tyler " BloodThirsty" Miller out of Trifecta MMA will defend his title versus Clovis's Devin Guerrero
The VFS Flyweight title will be up for grabs as well when Jose Aguiniga takes on a opponent to be announced.
