Buddy Wallace picks up 20th win, Valente stops Compton, Outside the Valley Spotlight: LFA 165 Santa Cruz, Ca Results

Legacy Fighting Alliance made its way to Northern California for LFA 165. Live Friday night from the Kaiser Permanente Arena In Santa Cruz, Ca. The city by the Boardwalk was treated to some pro MMA bouts, headlined by a middleweight fight between Santa Cruz's own Daniel Compton and Renato Valente.

In the main event Santa Cruz's own (8-1) Daniel "Santo" Compton took on (9-6) Renato Valente in the main event. Valente scored in round one landing hard leg kicks and setting up combos that had Compton's right eye cut and swollen after round one. Valente continued to out strike Compton in round two landing a body shot followed by a barrage of punches that sent Compton to the mat. The referee stepped in to stop the fight at :49 in round 2 making Valente the winner by tko.

In the co main event Oakdale MMA's Buddy Wallace stops Wallace Lopes in impressive fashion to earn his 20th win. During a exchange, both fighters landed a hard punch with Wallace's punch hurting Lopes, sending him back pedaling to the cage. Wallace followed Lopes landing some knees and punches that sent Lopes to the mat. Wallace lands a few more punches on a downed Lopes and the referee stops the fight at  2:04 round 1.

Allan Begosso defeats Christian Giovannie by unanimous decision after three rounds of action. Begosso landed in all three round causing damage and hurting Giovannie bad with a spinning elbow in the closing moments of the fight. Giovannie survived to the final bell. All three judges scored the fight (30-27), a unanimous decision for Allan Begosso.

Eduardo Chapolin defeats  Leandro Soares by unanimous decision, after three rounds of action judges cored the fight  (30-26, 30-26, 30-27).

Kendra McIntyre defeats Alandria Rosales by unanimous decision judges scored the fight (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Uran Satybaldiev defeats Gabriel Thimoteo by unanimous decision judges scored the fight (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

Adamu Isah defeats Luciano Ramos by unanimous decision, judges scored the fight(30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three round of action.

Lucas Martino defeats  Matt Chapman by split decision, judges scored the fight (30-27, 30-27, 28-29)

Salvador Osorio defeats Aris Arguello by tko after the doctor’s stop the fight at 5:00 in round 1.

Cristina Brador defeats McKenna Mitchell by unanimous decision.
