Vitruvian Martial Arts is owned and run by Marc De La Cruz. A BJJ black belt under Daniel Camarillo.
De La Cruz is also a former professional MMA fighter who fought for most of the promotions here in the Central Valley including Palace Fighting Championship, Gladiator Challenge, and Pure Combat before hanging up the gloves in 2009.
De La Cruz recently competed for Fight 2 Win in Visalia where he was able to pick up a win versus a tough opponent. Most of De La Cruz's time goes to his students now who have been turning heads in the sport at early ages in their careers. Students like Mariano Aldama, a blue belt in BJJ who has made a name for himself in the jiu jitsu scene.
Marc also works with up and coming Jennah "The Gem" Creason out of Visalia, who looks to have a bright future in whatever combat sport she chooses. Creason recently won her first international boxing tournament in Germany, where she won the gold medal. Creason has been shining in the boxing scene since a child, but has added Jiu Jitsu to her arsenal with the help of De La Cruz and Vitruvian Martial Arts. Creason is considered by most around the Central Valley as one of the top prospects in combat sports, we expect to see her on a big stage sooner, rather then later.
