"California Kid" Urijah Faber to main event A1 Combat 21 May 25th in Visalia

Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat CEO Tom Anderson took to social media for some big announcements regarding the upcoming events for his promotion. Anderson, also known as “Dana White-ish” , dropped a few bombs on the A1 Combat fans. Announcing that the “California Kid” Urijah Faber himself will be back in action on May 25th, 2024 in the main event of A1 Combat 21. The event will take place at the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, Ca as part of a two day MMA event with 559 Fights.

A1 Combat has established themselves as one of the top regional professional MMA promotions not only in California, but in the nation. The promotion recently announced that they will be making their debut in Reno, Nevada later this year as well. A1 Combat is coming up on its 20th event since they began back in 2022. A1 Combat 20 will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain on Friday May 17th. The card will feature the return of Team Alpha Male's (12-5) Vince Murdock. Sacramento's Vince Murdock was a cast member on the UFC's The Ultimate Fighter Season 29.

Then on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday May 25th 2024. A1 Combat returns to the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, Ca for A1 Combat 21. As announced, "The California Kid" Urijah Faber will come out of retirement to be in the main event. The UFC Hall of Famer last saw action in 2019 at UFC 245. No opponent has been named yet for "The California Kid". A1 Combat 21 takes place on day two, of the 2 Day MMA event happening at the Visalia Convention Center in collaboration with 559 Fights.

With all the news coming out of A1 Combat, don't forget A1 Combat 19 is just around the corner on Friday March 29th, 2024 from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain in Wheatland, Ca. Three titles will be on the line on the main card. Current A1 Combat Featherweight King (7-0) Ernie "Young Titan" Juarez out of Stockton is back in the main event. Juarez looks to defend his title versus (5-2) Abdikabyl Kaldar.

The Co main event will see Japan's (7-5-2) Namiki Kawahara take on (8-7) Anthony Do for the vacant A1 Combat Strawweight title.

Also on the card, (15-5) Jason Butcher meets Brazil's (8-6) Kevem Felipe for the vacant A1 Combat Middleweight championship.
