New opponent set for Cody Gibson at UFC Fight Night March 23rd in Las Vegas

"The Renegade" Cody Gibson has a new opponent set for his next fight at UFC Fight Night: Ribas vs Namajunas. Gibson was originally scheduled to face (15-7) Davey Grant Saturday March 23rd, 2024 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Nv. That fight fell through, and Gibson will now take on (13-2) Miles John.

John "Chapo" Johns  steps in on two weeks notice to take on Gibson on the prelims of UFC Fight NIght: Ribas vs Namajunas. This will be Gibson's first fight back since the TUF 31 Finale, where he fought Brad Katona at UFC 292. John last saw action at UFC Fight Night : Fiziev vs Gamrot in August of last year, where the fight was declared a no contest. Gibson vs Johns will air live on ESPN+ at 4pm PT and lead into the main card on ESPN starting at 7pm PT.

The main event will be in the women's flyweight division as former champ (11-6) Rose Namajunas takes on (14-4) Amanda Ribas. Heavyweights (9-1) Karl Williams and (7-3) Justin Tafa meet in the co main event plus much more.
