Avalos set to defend lightweight title July 26th vs Alvarez at A1 Combat 23 at the Tachi Palace Casino & Resort

Urijah Faber's A1 Combat is back in the Central Valley this summer with A1 Combat 23! Friday, July 26th 2024 from the the Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Lemoore, Ca. The A1 Combat Lightweight championship will be on the line in the main event as Parlier's Christian "Land Shark" Avalos defends his title versus Samuel "The Alley Cat" Alvarez.

Current A1 Combat Lightweight Champion (5-1)  Christian Avalos comes into his second title defense fresh off a win at A1 Combat 21. Where he earned a knock out victory in round one, moving his win streak to four in a row. The "Land Shark" takes on new challenger (10-6) Samuel "The Alley Cat" Alvarez out of Manteca California,

"The Alley Cat" is on a three fight win streak himself. Picking up some wins under the Combate Global banner before making his A1 Combat debut at A1 Combat 20 in Sacramento. 

Avalos vs Alvarez takes place in the main event of A1 Combat 23 July 23rd in Lemoore. Also on the card.
