Big Dawg Bare Knuckle Boxing to debut on March 8th from the original Eagle Mountain Casino location in Porterville

New Bare Knuckle promotion, Big Dawg Bare Knuckle Boxing led by Madera's "Big" Lavar Johnson will be holding their inaugural event at the original Eagle Mountain Casino location on Saturday March 8th 2025.

Valley Fight News.com has learned that Eagle Mountain Casino will be making some waves again in the combat sports world this year. The Casino has housed the better concerts and entertainment acts in our area since the grand opening at the new location in Porterville, California. The Eagle Mountain Casino will look to kick it up a notch and beat down the competition, literally with some professional fights taking place very soon from the new venue. Until then the original venue up the mountain will host the debut of Big Dawg Bare Knuckle Boxing.

Valley Fight News.com got wind of the new Bare Knuckle Boxing promotion on social media. When the former Valor Bare Knuckle Heavyweight champion Lavar Johnson shared the promotion’s new logo, letting everyone know that big news was on the way. Johnson, a UFC and Bellator veteran is now enjoying retirement but has begun a new chapter in his career as the face of Big Dawg Bare Knuckle Boxing. As mentioned, Johnson was a Bare Knuckle Boxing champion under Ken Shamrock’s Valor Bare Knuckle brand. Last year while Johnson was still champion, VBK announced that they would be taking their show to the new Eagle Mountain Casino. The event fell through, but Bare Knuckle Boxing will indeed make its debut in the Central Valley in 2025, Big Dawg Bare Knuckle Boxing is scheduled for March 8^th, 2025.
