The Valley's Jose Ramirez looks to have his first fight scheduled in 2025 and boy is it a big one. Ramirez who is coming off only his second loss in thirty one fights. Will head to New York in May to welcome back the Bay Area's Devin Haney to the squared circle.
Ramirez now holds a record of 29-2 and is looking to get
back on track since the unanimous decision loss to Arnold Barboza Jr last year
in November. Ramirez will now take on the former Undisputed Lightweight and WBC
Super Lightweight Champion (31-0-0-1) Devin Haney.
Ramirez will now meet Haney in a super lightweight matchup that
many have talked about for some time. Boxing fans are questioning if Haney will
be the same fighter following his last performance. While Ramirez has something
to prove as well, looking to stamp his place in line for a possible title shot
in the future.
There is also news going around that Ryan Garcia is expected
to take on Rolly Romero on the same card for the WBA World Welterweight
Championship. A belt which is a secondary title to current WBA Super World
Welterweight Champion Eimantas Stanionis, who will be looking to unify the
title in April.
