Tyler Miller & Paul Elizondo, VFS 17 - Cali Fights Magazine
Valley Fight Series is back to get their year started with another full card of combat sports action for the Central Valley fight fans. VFS 18 takes place Saturday February 22nd 2025 from the Table Mountain Casino in Friant, Ca.

Tyler Miller vs Esteban Gonzalez, VFS 15 - Cali Fights Magazine
The contracts are signed, and the beef will be settled in the main event of Valley Fight Series 18. When (3-0) Tyler “Blood Thirsty” Miller takes on (5-1) Paul Elizondo for the vacant VFS Bantamweight Championship. What started out as a competitive call out has turned into one of the Valley’s favorite MMA beefs in recent memory. Miller has been making a name for himself since 2023 under the VFS banner, finishing off a strong amateur run and then moving on to the pro’s at VFS 13. Miller is now undefeated and on a three fight win streak as a professional looking to keep moving forward on his mission to the big show.

Paul Elizondo, VFS 14 - Cali Fights Magazine
Standing in his way, Paul Elizondo who was undefeated as an amateur and a champion at 559 Fights. Elizondo was a regular for Combate Americas when they held events in the Central Valley in the past, and would go 4-1 as a pro before the Covid pandemic shut everything down. Elizondo would return after four years away from MMA competition to earn a :06 second knockout at VFS 14 in February of 2024. That same night Tyler Miller moved to 2-0 and early rumblings about the potential match up began. Miller would take on a familiar opponent in his next fight, earning a win over the same fighter Elizondo knocked out at VFS 14.

Since then, Tyler “Blood Thirsty” Miller and Fresno’s Paul Elizondo have been going back and forth on social media. Now with the fight booked, the two have even met in a face to face interview to promote the fight prior to the last VFS event. The buzz has many in the Central Valley looking forward to how the fight plays out come February 22nd. Although there may be some hateful words thrown out, this beef really comes down to these two men wanting to prove who the better mixed martial artist is. Will Miller continue his rise, capturing the bantamweight title on the way to bigger things? Or will Elizondo change the direction of that journey and take the title himself to finish what he started in 2016?
