Bakersfield Combat Promotions was back in action with a great night of amateur MMA in the South Valley. Bakersfield Combat Promotions Fight Night Vol. 5. Took place from the Elite Fitness Center in Bakersfield, Ca on Saturday March 15^th, 2025.

Joshua Ruehlig, BCP Fight Night Vol. 5 - Boxing Vitals

The Bakersfield Combat Lightweight Championship was on the line in the main event of the night when Brandon Rodriguez took on Joshua Ruehlig. Ruehlig got the fight to the ground in round one where he moved to full mount and landed some nice punches while looking to set up the rear naked choke. Rodriguez would get back to his feet as the round came to an end. Round two saw Ruehlig get the better position when the fight hit the ground. Where he moved to full mount again and scored with some nice shots. Rodriguez would look to escape but get caught in a rear naked choke that forced the tap at 1:42 in round 2. Making Joshua Ruehlig the new BCP Lightweight Champion.

Armando Reveles BCP Fight Night Vol.5 - Boxing Vitals

The Bakersfield Combat Bantamweight Championship was on the line in the co main event. Ezekiel Ortiz looked solid in the stand up department versus Armando Reveles in the opening round of their matchup. Ortiz got the fight to the ground in round two and moved to full mount, working his ground and pound. Reveles would get back to his feet before the round was over and land a few hard punches as the fight went into round three. Ortiz would look to get the fight to the ground, but Reveles defended well and took the back of Ortiz. Where he tightened up a rear naked choke that would force the tap at :23 in round 3. Armando Reveles is now the BCP Bantamweight Champion.

Gabriel Gutierrez stops Connor Subriar by tko after landing a right hand that dropped Subriar at 2:02 in round 1.

Alfonso Valles defeats Joseph Avendano by ko at :30 seconds in round 1.

Gabriel Vivan defeated Arturo Ramirez Jr. by submission at :53 seconds in round 1.

Arraeil Saunders defeats Alyssa Kurtz by unanimous decision, judges scored the bout (27-30, 28-29, 30-27).

Estif Aliaga defeats Alan Horvath by tko at :52 seconds in round 3.

Reymoore Santos defeats Irvin Nguyen by knockout landing a nice shot that put Nguyen out cold at 1:59 in round 1.

Rudy Rojas defeated Adam Villareal by tko dr stoppage. Villareal hurt his arm and couldn’t continue after round 1.

Baylor Byrum defeats Adrian Gomez by submission with a rear naked choke that forced the tap at 1:44 in round 1.

Eduardo Cesareo defeats John Rosas by submission with a triangle choke that forced the tap at 1:55 in round 1.

Francisco Sanchez defeats Jesus Magana by tko at :52 in round 2

Jerry Ramos defeated Julius Loera by split decision, judges scored the bout (29-28,27-30, 30-27).
