Tachi Palace Fights set to return on May 16th

One of the most prominent regional MMA promotions in Central California’s history is back.  Tachi Palace Fights returns to the sacred combat grounds that is the Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Lemoore, California. The Tachi Yokut Tribe’s own Jacob Jeff announced on his social media page that (TPF) Tachi Palace Fights will be making its return on Saturday May 16th, 2026, posting,

“We are back!!!! Tachi Palace Fights 36 will be held on Saturday May 16, 2026. After years of laying low and letting others grow it is time for us to get back to our roots and bring back Pro MMA to the valley. We are the only show in the Central Valley that’s 100% owned and operated by Native People and named after their Tribe and Casino. Tachi Palace Fights, we didn’t join the game, we started it.”

Following the departure of the (WEC) World Extreme Cagefighting and the (PFC) Palace Fighting Championship. Tachi Palace Fights filled the void and became the home to MMA in the Central Valley in 2009. Keeping the sport alive in the area and creating a home for the lower weight divisions, before the UFC had implemented new weight classes. TPF picked up right where the PFC left off, holding thirty five events with their last show taking place in 2018 at TPF 35. The promotion now returns after over seven years along with some familiar faces including matchmaker Richard Goodman. Looking to restore and continue the legacy of MMA at the Tachi Palace.
