It is fight week in the Central Valley! Again! 559 Fights returns to the Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville, Ca on Sunday July 19th, 2026. For 559 Fights 125: Cortez vs Avalos! Another night of action packed Pro MMA planned for the Valley fans that only the premier MMA promotion in the Valley can provide. 559 Fights 125 will include three pro title fights, with the inaugural Pro 559 Fights Featherweight and Bantamweight champions to be decided. While the Pro 559 Fights Flyweight title will be defended for the first time.
The Main event will see the Central Valley’s own Jose “Stilmatik” Avalos out of Parlier, Ca. Look to finish his career as 559 Fights Featherweight champion in what is being considered his last fight. Avalos, an MMA veteran since 2017, holds a record of (8-6) and trains out of Dethrone MMA in Fresno, Ca. He will finish his career where he started as an amateur with 559 Fights. While looking to defend the home turf versus a very dangerous opponent, in undefeated (7-0) Tony Cortez.
Cortez, out of Huntington Beach California. Trains with Team Oyama and has people talking about his fifteen fight win streak that goes back to his amateur days in 2021. Cortez has yet to see defeat and has finished every fight he has been in besides two as an amateur. As a pro he has finished every fight including his last two by tko. The vacant Pro 559 Fights Featherweight title will be on the line in the main event, when Tony Cortez meets Jose Avalos.
The vacant Pro 559 Fights Bantamweight title will be on the line in the co main event. When 559 Fights veteran and former amateur champ (4-1) Enoch McCottrell takes on undefeated (4-0) Jonathan Powell out of California MMA in Los Angeles, Ca.
Current 559 Fights Pro Flyweight Champion (8-3) Corvan Allen out of Millennia MMA will defend his title for the first time in the feature fight of the night. Allen takes on Spokane, Washington’s (6-1) Alvin Welch
Also, on the amateur portion of the card. The vacant 559 Fights Women’s Amateur Flyweight Championship will be on the line. When Visalia’s (4-1) Jackie Craven out Crisp MMA takes on (2-2) Kimberly Padilla and much more!!
