Valley Fight Series announces main event for VFS 28 on Sept 28th

Valley Fight Series is back in the cage for VFS 28, which will take place on Saturday September 26th, 2026. From the Table Mountain Casino Resort in Friant, Ca. A great night of Pro-Am MMA, Muay Thai and BJJ for the Central Valley fans to enjoy. VFS has announced on their social media that the main event will be for the VFS Pro Welterweight Championship. When current Champion Sainsbury takes on Fresno’s own "Big Al" Albert Gonzales.

Sainsbury defends the title for the first time since defeating James Porter by unanimous decision at VFS 25. Gonzales last competed at Fight Night San Jose 5.

Also announced, current VFS Pro Featherweight BJJ Champion Mikey San Nicolas out of Elite Team Corcoran. Will defend his title versus Josiah Rowland out of Pacific Martial Arts

Valley Fight series 28 goes down Saturday September 26th, 2026, from the Table Mountain Casino Resort in Friant, Ca. Tickets will be on sale soon.
