"Straight out of Oakdale Bud!" Buddy Wallace ready for main event in Stockton!

Its Fight week in Stockton California! As Urijah Faber's A1 Combat makes its way to the Stockton Civic Auditorium, Sunday July 31st, 2022. for A1 Combat 4! 

In the main event of the night A1 Middleweight champion (17-9-1)

Buddy "Braveheart"Wallace defends his Middleweight title versus (6-2) Joaquin Lopez.

Oakdale’s Buddy Wallace is coming in fresh off a submission win in May. The Tachi Palace Fights Veteran looks forward to defending his newly won title in the main event Sunday in Stockton. Not only will he be in front of a home town crowd, but the card will also air live on UFC Fight Pass. Knowing that,  Wallace has been preparing for it all with The Last Stand Fight Team saying,

"Training has been going great preparing for this fight! I’ve been working with my Last Stand Fight Team brothers under Professor Tom Theofanopolous. My striking coaches Justin Smitley and Carlos Moreno have been preparing me to bang while my grappling coaches Lamar Reed and Ernesto Rodriguez are keeping me well rounded to win the fight anywhere."

Wallace was originally suppose to take on Ivan Batinich in the main event. With that fight falling through Wallace will now be taking on Santa Rosa's Joaquin Lopez, out of the Nor Cal Fighting Alliance. When asked what he knew about the new challenger, Wallace responded.

"I know my opponent is a game fighter with a lot of boxing experience. Only message I have for him is respect and thanks for taking the fight and be ready to put on an awesome show for the crowd. The fans can expect me to fight my heart out every round with no quit in me. If my opponent matches my energy it will make for a great 3 round war."

Fighters will officially meet each other face to face at the weigh ins. Then its go time for both competitors! i asked Buddy if there was anyone he wanted to shout out or thank? he finished up with,
