Tulare's Richard Torrez Jr. set for next bout at Top Ranks return to Arizona on September 20th

Tulare's undefeated heavyweight Richard Torrez Jr. has been scheduled for his next fight. Torrez Jr. will travel to what is becoming a familiar place in Arizona for his eleventh professional boxing bout. On Friday September 20th from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Az.

Top Rank has a date set for one of their top heavyweight prospects to compete. It will be on the main card of the recently announced Top Rank on ESPN: Mungia vs Bazinyan. The super middleweight showdown will main event the night with the Valley's Richard Torrez Jr. fighting on the main card.

Torrez Jr is coming off a tko win in May, where he won the WBC-NABF Junior heavyweight title out in San Diego. Torrez Jr. stopped then undefeated Brandon Moore in the fifth round to win the championship and move his record to 10-0. The former Olympian now sets his focus on the September date, where he will be taking on (28-11-1) Joey Dawejko.

Top Rank on ESPN Munigia vs Bazinyan will broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+ at 7:30pm PT.
