One of the best amateur MMA promotions in the country, 559 Fights. Made their move to the professional ranks following over ten years of mastering the art of promoting amateur MMA. Two pro-am events in the books already with their last event, 559 Fights 120. Marking the promotions official live debut on UFC Fight Pass. 559 Fights is now off and running with pro events but that doesn’t mean the amateur shows will be going anywhere or getting less attention. 559 Fights Owner Jeremy Luchau decided that the amateur events that paved the way for 559 Fights would now need a way to keep standing out on their own. Although one of the main goals as an MMA athlete is to go pro, the Next Generation in the sport will always have a home at 559 Fights with 559 Fights: Next Gen.
The new name for the amateur events moving forward will begin at 559 Fights 121: Next Gen, with a card full of the best amateur mixed martial artist in California. The next gem in MMA will be found within the next generation of fighters at 559 Fights. Where a path to greatness has been carved for any athlete in the area that takes the sport seriously.
559 Fights 121: Next Gen main event will see a highly anticipated matchup between two Central Valley amateur standouts for the 559 Fights Amateur Featherweight Championship. Current Champ Johnny Diaz will be putting his title on the line for the first time versus RDC Boxings Enrique Arroyo. 559 Fights Amateur Flyweight Champion Sajin Zacarias is back ready to defend his title versus Madera’s Paul Furr in the co main event. Also on the card, the 559 Fights Amateur Super Lightweight and Welterweight titles will be on the line and much more.
