A1 Combat comes to the Visalia Convention Center December 23rd as part of a huge two night event with 559 Fights

The top amateur MMA promotion in California, 559 Fights and Urijah Faber's A1 Combat have been working together for a bit now. A1 Combat has become the landing spot for 559 Fights amateur fighters who are ready to move up to the pros. A1 Combat awards fighters from 559 Fights cards with professional contracts to fight for their promotion. It has been something Jeremy Luchau, President at 559 Fights has done before. In working with professional promotions, giving his amateur fighters homes to keep growing on their way to the big show.

"This is yet another step in the development of MMA in the Central Valley. All hands on deck to continue the growth of events, the sport, the fighters and the gyms in the area. It's also a great opportunity for some entertainment while people are home for the holidays." Said Luchau

559 Fights has held co branded events before, where the 559 Fights amateur card would be the preliminary bouts for the promotions main card. Often times the amateurs would steal the show. A1 Combat has been busy putting on events up and down California and has found a home away from home, when they stop in the Central Valley. President of A1 Combat Tom Anderson brought professional MMA back to the Tachi Palace Casino & Resort in Lemoore, CA in February. Since then A1 Combat returned twice with A1 Combat 10 and 13 also taking place at the Tachi Palace.

559 Fights and A1 Combat will be doing things different while their doing business together, The promotions have announced that they will be hosting a two night MMA event that will bring A1 Combat to the Visalia Convention Center Saturday December 23rd, 2023. The night before that 559 Fights 102 goes down on Friday December 22nd, 2023. This will be a first for the Central Valley, as the Visalia Convention Center will host back to back MMA events. A early Christmas gift for the Central Valley MMA Fans. A1 Combat and 559 Fights have few more dates to take care of before they start working on the December cards, but we will try to get you all the info as it comes in.
