Madera's Lavar Johnson set for title fight at Valor Bare Knuckle Oct. 27th in Florida

Heavyweight veteran Lavar "Big" Johnson is back, returning to the bare knuckle bout circle as he is set to compete for the Valor Bare Knuckle Heavyweight Championship. Johnson travels out to Jacksonville, Fl on October 27th, 2023 for VBK 2 to take on current champ Mark Godbeer.

Ken Shamrock's Valor Bare Knuckle is one of the original promotions to do bare knuckle before the pandemic. The promotion picked up steam quickly with their unique set up, including the bout circle. 

A fighting platform with no ropes, no fence, and no gloves.  VBK 1 was a success with a heavyweight tournament that ended with Mark Godbeer winning the heavyweight title. Lavar Johnson made his bare knuckle debut with a quick ko of veteran James McSweeney, and the Central Valley's own JC Llamas went to war with Mike Richman.

Valor Bare Knuckle makes its return Friday October 27th 2023 from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fl.
