Valley Fights Series 13 Pro/Am card shaping up for November 4th at Table Mountain Casino

Valley Fight Series is back with VFS 13 Saturday November 4th, 2023. The promotion will host its first Pro/Am event from the Table Mountain Casino in Fresno, Ca. The card has been coming together and is being released on the VFS social media pages. 

The fights that have been announced are sure to bring action and the hometown crowd, as Fresno's (1-0) AJ Perez returns to Valley Fight Series where he was able to win a title as an amateur and make a solid name for himself going into the pros. Perez, also a former 559 Fights champion, made his pro debut at Urijah Faber's A1 Combat 8 in February at the Tachi Palace Resort & Casino in Lemoore, Ca.  Perez recorded an impressive first round KO in what was considered knockout of the night.

Perez returns to the VFS cage to take on fellow Fresno native Chris "The Law" Lewis, who has a bit more experience with a (3-4) pro MMA record. Lewis, also familiar with the amateur scene in the 559. Went undefeated in his amateur career before competing at some of the top regional shows, such as Tachi Palace Fights, Bellator, and Combate. More recently Lewis competed for A1 Combat and is coming off a tko win at Cage Warriors 155 in San Diego.

The co main will see Fresno's (2-1) Destanie Yarbrough return to action taking on (0-1) Brittney Spinks. Some might remember Yarbrough for her fight in Japan under the Rizin umbrella in 2016, where she took on Gabi Garcia. Yarbrough takes on Brittney Spinks who is no stranger to competition and has a purple belt in BJJ.

Amateur Bantamweight VFS Champion Tyler Miller out of Trifecta MMA makes his pro debut versus Bakersfield's (1-0) Arturo Burgos.
