Urijah Faber takes on Jeff Curran in a Combat Jiu Jitsu match at A1 Combat 21 in Visalia

It was announced that "The California Kid" Urijah Faber would be coming out of retirement to compete in MMA again at A1 Combat 21 Saturday May 25th, 2024 at the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, Ca. Urijah Faber will indeed compete, but it will be in a combat Jiu Jitsu match.

Porterville's Joe Soto to be inducted into the Tachi Palace Hall of Fame this summer

The Tachi Palace Hall of Fame Ceremony returned at Urijah Faber's A1 Combat 18 in February of this year. The Ceremony saw Madera's Lavar Johnson and Hanford's Chad Mendes take their rightful spot in the Tachi Palace Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame Ceremony will be back this summer in June, at a A1 Combat event yet to be announced in Lemoore, Ca. One of the names leading the next class into the Tachi Palace Hall of Fame is Porterville's "One Bad MoFo" Joe Soto.

Announcing that the “California Kid” Urijah Faber himself will be back in action on May 25th, 2024 in the main event of A1 Combat 21. The event will take place at the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, Ca as part of a two day MMA event with 559 Fights.

559 Fights 105 kicks off 2 day MMA event in Visalia on Friday May 24th

Visalia, Ca- The Central Valley MMA fans are in for a treat on Memorial Day weekend. 559 Fights and A1 Combat will team up for another two day MMA event at the Visalia Convention Center. Starting on May 24th 2024, 559 Fights gets the BBQ pit lit for the weekend festivities, with 559 Fights 105 on Friday night. Then the next day, May 25th 2024, Urijah Faber's A1 Combat will take over from the same venue for A1 Combat 21.
