Bakersfield’s The Chute MMA & Jiu Jitsu set to host Seminar led by Jon Fitch on Sept 21st

UFC and Bellator Veteran Jon Fitch will make his way to Bakersfield California to lead a seminar at The Chute MMA & Jiu Jitsu on Saturday September 21^st, 2024.

Former UFC title contender Jon Fitch will be in the Central Valley to host a seminar brought to you by Mecca Nutrition. Fitch is a former NCAA division 1 wrestler and now a black belt Jiu Jitsu who began his MMA career in 2002. Born in Indiana, Fitch made a new home for himself when he moved to San Jose California to join the American Kickboxing Academy. Fitch would earn his way to a title opportunity after eight straight wins in the UFC. Where he would go the distance with UFC Hall of Famer George St. Pierre at UFC 87 in 2008. Fitch would go on to compete for the World Series of Fighting where he won their welterweight title in 2016 and finished his MMA career competing for Bellator. Fitch hung up the gloves in 2020 and finished his career with an impressive 32-8 record.

The Chute MMA & Jiu Jitsu is owned and operated by MMA veteran and former Palace Fighting Champion Bryan Travers.

The Chute MMA & Jiu Jitsu is also home to the current 559 Fights and CAMO State bantamweight champion Julio Larrave who will be defending his titles at 559 Fights 108 on September 28th.

The Jon Fitch MMA Seminar will be held at The Chute MMA & Jiu Jitsu gym located at 4641 District Blvd in Bakersfield, California. The seminar will cost $75 to register and has limited spots available.
