In this edition of Back in the day in Valley MMA we go back to 2003. World Extreme Cagefighting kept up with their themed events following the success of the first "Halloween Fury" themed WEC show. The promotion invited MMA fans to show up in costume for a night full of tricks and treats at the Tachi Palace Casino & Resort.

Boxing's undisputed lightweight King Devin Haney heads home for the Holidays for his last fight of the year. Haney, who was born in San Francisco will be attempting to become a two division champion in front of his home town crowd. Home to the Golden State Warriors, the Chase Center in San Francisco will host the bout that will also be live on DAZN PPV on Saturday December 9, 2023.

It's back to business after the promotion celebrated a huge milestone in October, reaching the 100th event they have hosted. 559 Fights moves full steam ahead, looking to finish the year off strong with two events planned before the year is over. The Valley MMA fans are in for a treat, as the card is stacked with some of the best amateur fighters around.
