Top Rank On ESPN takes over Stockton with two world championships on the line May 13th

Following a great show in Fresno, Top Rank Promotions will head North on Highway 99, Setting up shop down the road as Top Rank on ESPN heads to the 209, Stockton California for Top Rank On ESPN. Saturday May 13th, 2023 from the Stockton Arena. Two world titles will be on the line on the main card. Top Rank will also feature "Stockton's King" (21-2) Gabriel Flores as he is set to compete in front of his hometown crowd.

A1 Combat returns to the Tachi Palace in Lemoore Friday April 28th

A1 Combat is back in the Central Valley for A1 Combat 10 Friday April 28th. 2023 from the Tachi Palace Casino & Resort in Lemoore, Ca. The Valley Fans can look forward to nine professional MMA bouts featuring some of the Central Valley's best. The A1 Combat vacant lightweight title will be on the line in the main event. The promotion will also continue with the Tachi Palace Hall of Fame, inducting a new class headlined by Fresno's "The Apache Kid" Cole Escovedo. The ceremony will take place before the main card at A1 Combat 10.

The  Valley fans packed the Save Mart Center next to Fresno State University, and all the big dogs were on hand for a huge night of boxing. The 11,201 fans in attendance were treated to 8 bouts, headlined by Avenal's Jose Ramirez and a battle for the WBA and WBC Woman's minimumweight world titles. 

In the main event The Valley's own (28-1) Jose Ramirez out of Avenal, Ca took on (30-5-1)Richard Commey.

Richard Torrez Jr. off Top Rank March 25th Card in Fresno due to Injury

Tulare's Richard Torrez Jr was set to face Willie Jake March 25th 2023 at the Save Mart Center In Fresno, Ca. The (5-0)  heavyweight had to withdraw from the fight due to a training injury. Torrez is expected to return in the summer.

In the co main event the vacant 559 Fights welterweight title is up for grabs as Madera's  (2-1) Roman Guillen takes on Michael Ramirez. I was able to connect with Fresno's Michael "R1" Ramirez prior to his title fight Friday night in Visalia.

Visalia's Cody "The Renegade" Gibson is back in the UFC where he belongs. This time as a cast member of The Ultimate Fighter Season 31. Gibson who is (19-8) in his MMA career, made his way to the UFC the first time around in 2014. He went 1-4 with the promotion, earning a :38 second KO over Johnny Bedford at UFC Fight Night 44 in Texas.
